Paying Homage to Our Father Late Prof. Harnek Singh, the Former Asian Champion of Volleyball, 3 Times Decathlon Champion of India and Initiator of EK Gurmukhi Metric Systems on his First Death Anniversary, the Barsi as Performed with Sahaj Path Bhog at Patiala and Jarg Sahib by his Family, Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Well Wishers, Students and Colleagues
Our family, relatives, friends, neighbors, students, and the colleagues to our father; Late Professor Harnek Singh Ji (who had been the Asian Champion of Volleyball and the Decathlon Champion of India), celebrated his First Death Anniversary on 1st of July, 2018 at Gurudwara Sodhi Jang Singh, Civil Lines Patiala.
Our family, relatives, friends, neighbors, students, and the colleagues to our father; Late Professor Harnek Singh Ji (who had been the Asian Champion of Volleyball and the Decathlon Champion of India), celebrated his First Death Anniversary on 1st of July, 2018 at Gurudwara Sodhi Jang Singh, Civil Lines Patiala.
The Sahaj Path of One Week was carried from 25th of June to 1st of July and then the Kirtan, Mukhwak, Katha, Langar and remembering him by all was carried on the same day even though many others, who could not personally visit the family did it on the phone-mobile calls, social networking and or otherwise.
Giani Thakur Singh Ji of Patiala, his elder son also conducted the Katha and told the Sangat and or the People Gathered about our father and his great achievements in sports as he had been the Asian Volleyball Champion and the Decathlon Champion of India.
Furthermore, he also told about his corruption-free life and great simplicity, and told that upon his winning the Asian Volleyball Championship Systems, the Maharaja of Patiala Maharaja Yadwindra Singh asked him to take land, but due to his simplicity he did not take it, and came back home after having Special Khana (having) Lunch-Dinner Systems for the Special Occasions with the Maharaja Patiala, which was to honor his achievement of Winning Asian Championship and getting the Award of Best Volleyball Player of Asia, while as the Student of Mahindra College of Patiala, and he was also honored by Prime Minister of India, by then Jawahar Lal Nehru.
He was also honored as the Best Student and Roll of Honor by Arya School Barnala, Mahindra College of Patiala (also honored as Living Legend and Living Glory), Physical Education College of Patiala, NIS of Patiala, Khalsa College of Amritsar Sahib and DAV College of Jallandhar in his lifetime, where he was also honored by Punjabi University for his Lifetime Achievements as well.
The Principle of Government Physical Education College, Mrs. Simrat Kaur Ji, one of his friends and colleagues, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Ji Dhaliwal also arrived and participated in the First Death Anniversary, while Prof. Tarlok Singh with his wife, one of his students and colleagues also arrived and paid their homage to him.

The Giani Thakur Singh Ji, his eldest son, the Granthi Singh with Kirtani Jatha of Gurudwara Sodhi Jang Singh, and the family thanked the Sangat, the congregation for their taking precious time to pay homage to Late Prof. Harnek Singh Ji.
One the next day; the 2nd of July the Sahaj Path Bhog was also conducted at Gurudawara Yadgar Sant Baba Isher Singh Singh Ji (Rara Sahib) Jarg as guided by Sant Baba Bhupinder Singh Ji, who thankfully arranged it all from his busy and precious time as he is visiting Ireland and England in his European Trip. So accordingly Granthi Harjit Singh Ji and Granthi Jagtar Singh Ji and the Jatha carried the Path Bhog, Kirtan, Diwan, Samapati, Antim Ardas, Hukamnama, and while paying homage to Prof. Harnek Singh told Sangat about his family association and/or affiliation to the Rara Sahib Samparda especially Jarg Singh with the Jathedar Ji and Sant Baba Bhupinder Singh Ji. They also thanked the Sangat for taking time to come and pay their Homage, the Shardhaljali to the Departed Soul.
Then the Langar, Tea Langar, and other activities at the Gurdwara Sahib Jarg were carried as our family and I have been going there for about 24-25 years while knowing Sant Baba Bhupinder Singh from about 45 years as he has been visiting our families since; our childhood and/or even before our birth, while thankfully with Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji, Sant Baba Kishan Singh Ji, Jathedar Ji (Rara Sahib-Jarg Sahib) and Bhai Amrik Singh Ji of Patiala in Rara Sahib Traditional University Systems.
Meanwhile, Late Jathedar Sant Baba Mahinder Singh Ji, who is considered as a Brahm Giani (Gyani), while also the Unbeaten Champion of Martial Arts of Gatka also have been great sources of inspiration, blessing and divine guidance.
Our father, late Prof. Harnek Singh Ji's Mama Ji (Mother's Real Brother) was the Hazoori (Attendant) Ragi to Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji of Nanaksar Taksala (Samparda, University), and once he requested him to bless his sister (our grandmother), who already had two daughters, with son, and the brother to the sisters (our two bhua ji's), and he (Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji) gave our grandmother five apples, the fruits, and then there were five sons born as believed in the Religious, Faith and Sacred Subjects and Systems, and our father was among them. Our father's mama ji was blind by birth but he used to run watch and clock repair shop while also doing Kirtan at Nanaksar Sahib with Sant Baba Nand Singh. Most of our grandparental relatives go to Nanaksar and or the Rara Sahib Samparda (University) Sacred Systems.
Meanwhile, one of our family friend Harman Singh took us to Gurdwara Sahib Jarg right from Patiala by driving his car with his younger son Anmol Singh.
As our Bhabhi Ji, Bibi Rajwant Kaur wife to Giani Thakur Singh passed away on 30th May 2018 and her Antim Ardas, the Last (Final) Prayers were conducted last month, so it was sadder occasion then what we can express in words.

We again thank those, who took their precious time to attend the First Anniversary, the Homage and/or the Shardhajali Functions at Patiala and/or Jarg Sahib.
He also always had been a Great Inspiration and thus Initiated the Hypothesis and Research of EK Gurmukhi Metric Systems with the Hypothesis of Philselfology and sent me to study and research in Australia, while as he told me during my childhood as especially in the Middle School Education that the Original Manuscripts, Books, Scriptures and Doctrines of Sanskrit and Gurmukhi were taken to the European Libraries especially to the Libraries of German.
So, I wrote to the German High Commission in New Delhi in 1985-86 during my 9th-10th Classes and onward requesting them to study and research in German, but they said that students, who know the German Language can go there, so I later wrote the same-similar letter to Australian High Commission as well as the Australian Schools, Colleges and even the Universities, and thus go admission, scholarship and sponsorship in Australia in 1988 and joined there in 1989.
So, the 1985-86 was also one of years of initiation of the EK Gurmukhi Metric Systems dedicated to EK Gurmukhi Theory of Elements, Matrix and Alphabet as given by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji when we was about 7 years in around 1476 AD when he wrote 35 Akharas in his Sacred Gurbani Composition of Patti Likhi, the Wooden Slate, and it was later developed into 35 Letters, the Akhara Systems of Gurmukhi Alphabet by his Sikh, the Disciple Shri Guru Angad Dev Ji.

The Governments, Authorities, Corporate and UNO knows it very well that if you keep insulting Scholars and Independent Researchers, they usually commit suicides.
