ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ 84 ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਨਿਰਮਲੇ, ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਛਾਉਣੀਆਂ) ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। 'ਬਾਬਾ ਹਰਦਾਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਟ੍ਰੈਡੀਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ' ਇਸੇ ਲੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ STEM ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਹੈ।

ਬਲਾਕਚੈਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸਿਸਟਮ: ਇਹ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ 'Blockchain' ਵਾਂਗ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ—ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਇੱਕ 'ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਬਲਾਕ' ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਹੇਰਾਫੇਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ, 'ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸਿਸਟਮ' (ਬਿਨਾਂ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ) ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਬੈਂਕਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਡਲ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
